For the next 4 weeks I am here at Pony Pals Stable. They have 35 horses and do therapeutic riding for disabled children. On Monday I had my first day with grooming the horses, saddle, warming up (lead the horse round the arena...uff...), leading the horse during the lesson responisble stabilise the rider on the horse, care for the horses after the lesson and such kind of things. It is a little bit difficult for me as I don't know every english word for all these horse things, but I think it was a good 1. day and it is really nice to see the children having fun on the horses.
I live above the stable with my host Candice who is the head instructor. Also there are 2 very cute Jack-Russel-Terrier and 3 cats, so we're 7 womans under one roof ;-)
